CURRENT JOB OPENINGS:

CONTENT SCIENTIST

GeneEd is a leader in providing e-Learning solutions to life-science enterprises. The company provides interactive medical content, CME-accredited online learning, and best practices training for life-science, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and biotech professionals.

Job Overview:

Your primary role will be to author GeneEd's online courses and custom products for our biopharmaceutical clients. You will develop storyboards and work closely with our Flash and web developers to create these courses.

You will also play a role in supporting sales and business efforts whenever scientific input is required. As a member of GeneEd's core scientific team, you will also play a key role in helping the company maintain its scientific leadership position.

Responsibilities:

• Write scientific course narratives and workbooks;
• Develop course materials into online courses and products using GeneEd's storyboard formats and procedures;
• Provide scientific interpretation to project managers and Flash developers to guide the creation of these courses and products;
• Edit courses in various stages of development;
• Participate in scientific meetings with clients during various stages of course development;
• Provide scientific support to sales staff in developing client relationships;
• Lead the CME committee (including organization of bi-monthly committee meetings and submission of materials for the continuation of accreditation)

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in biological science with a broad teaching or research background in academia or industry;
• Excellent verbal and written communication;
• Clear, organized thinking and work habits;
• A creative, vivid imagination coupled with an interest in teaching and communicating science;
• The ability to work well in a team-based environment.
• Previous project management (esp. CME, CNE, or CE accreditation projects) a plus.
